In February, we trucked out to The Autumn Bowl—a pretty gnarly, if rat infested members-only skatepark in Greenpoint, Brooklyn—to shoot promotional material for EAT IT!, the sadistic-reality-show-within-the-movie that brings Rachel and Ayumi together..

Our beloved Rachel is currently on tour with her band, SUPERCUTE!, opening up for Kate Nash. If you love Ruchiki, all-girl ukelele bands, or songs which discuss not singing about boys, you may want to try and catch them on tour.

This first proof of the Ruchiki poster, by graphic designer Alexey Malina, has us all super-excited.
Matt, Brian, Sasha and Jake headed down to Washington, DC recently to see (and film) Reni performing at Sakura Matsuri, one of the largest Japanese cultural festivals in the US. A few select stills of Reni (and Brian) in action.
In January, during our seven days in Pickering, Ontario, the Ruchiki photography crew shot several rolls of 16mm to explore the visual landscape of the film.
They blew us all away.
