We’ve cut a little teaser from the 16mm we shot of our popstar Reni Mimura at the Sakura Matsuri Japanese street festival a few weeks ago. Hope you like it.

In January, during our seven days in Pickering, Ontario, the Ruchiki photography crew shot several rolls of 16mm to explore the visual landscape of the film.
They blew us all away.

Pickering is the the site of the film’s ten day shoot in June, and the home of the film’s protagonist, Rachel. While the production team kept busy arranging shoots in local high-schools, malls and homes, Matt, Brian, Jeff and Jake captured three beautiful studies of Ruchiki’s various landscapes.
